John and Taryn De La Sierra Family

Taryn attended Mililani Community Church as a child. After her marriage to John, they returned as a couple to become active members of our congregation.

God has blessed John and Taryn with two wonderful children, Jennalyn (4) and Joshua (2).

John is a solid surface worker at BKA Builders. He enjoys sports of all sorts. John had a great time playing in the Men's Basketball League with other brothers in our church and other churches all over the island. He has a heart to serve as soon as the need is brought to his attention. He has also been an encouragement to other men as a member of the men ’s discipleship group.

Taryn serves as the Nursery Director at MCC, where she teaches toddlers the very basics about God: His creation, His love for us in Christ, and how we can worship Him. She has a great time teaching the children songs of praise to God, and helping them learn about giving, praying, and reading His Word.

John and Taryn recently hosted the “Growing Kids God’s Way” study in their home, for couples with young children.
