MISSION TO THE
PHILIPPINES -
November 2004

In November 2004 Pastor Rick Bartosik had the privilege of traveling to the Philippines to teach Filipino pastors and church planters in the Global Pastors Institute.

Global Pastors Institute is a ministry of Paradise Global Mission, founded by Hawaii evangelist Danny Yamashiro. The purpose of GPI is to train national Christian leaders in order that they might be better equipped to faithfully train and disciple others. Global Pastors Institute partners in the Philippines with Christ our Life Ministries founded by Pastor Rolando Santiago.

Pastor Rick and Pastor Owen Tanoue taught 54 pastors and church planters from four provinces. Pastor Rick taught a course entitled “The Gospel in the Old Testament,” showing how the Old Testament Scriptures wonderfully foretell and foreshadow the person and work of Jesus Christ as mankind’s only hope of salvation. Pastor Owen taught “Bible Study Methods” explaining the basic principles for properly observing, interpreting and applying the Scriptures in personal Bible study and Bible teaching.
