God has called us all to be witnesses for Christ.  One of our goals at Mililani Community Church is to equip you to overcome your fears and learn to be an effective witness for Christ.

One study revealed that most of us rarely, if ever, witness to the lost because of four major fears

OUR KAIROS MOMENT

The time is now. The uncertainties of current events are driving churches and families to turn their focus inward. We will resist this temptation, and instead become even more prayerfully and actively engaged in Gods mission around the world. The financial crisis is forcing churches and families to rein in spending. We will nevertheless become even more financially generous than weve ever been toward the task of multiplying healthy churches among all people.

OUR KAIROS PARTNERSHIP

Each one of our Hawaii churches is already fruitfully ministering in many of the outermost parts of the earth, and we want to build on that momentum. By working strategically together in one specific corner of the globe, we can do things that none of our churches could handle alone.

OUR KAIROS VISION FOR SOUTHEAST ASIA

The fields are ripe. We want to join God in what he's already doing!

Our Hawaii EFCA District Churches will partner together to develop, empower, and release local church planting movements in each of the Southeast Asian nations. We will mobilize our churches to contribute ideas, people, resources and prayer support to the opportunities we pursue.

We will put feet to this vision in many different ways. We will send leaders to train church planters and pastors with little access to biblical education. We will send short-term teams to teach English, helping new churches make connections with unbelievers in their communities.  We will send workers to assist in relief work and prison ministry, helping to build new Christian communities in areas where the gospel has not yet been consistently proclaimed. We will financially support local ministries that are reproducing churches in our target nations. 

HOW TO SEIZE THIS KAIROS MOMENT

- Pray. Not in a perfunctory "Lord, bless the missionaries" way. Pray seriously and regularly for God's work in Southeast Asia through missionaries and local leaders to help people see their sin and their need for a savior.

- Give. Consider financially supporting the Hawaii leaders and teams we will send to assist local church-planting efforts. Consider an ongoing financial commitment to the local ministries and leaders we are partnering with.

- Go. Consider joining one of our short-term teams to Southeast Asia to assist local ministries in practical ways.
