At Mililani Community Church we provide a Sunday School Program for all ages from Pre-school through Adult.

Through our Children's Sunday School curriculum we seek to provide support for parents in bringing up their children in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord."

Our goal is to help our students come to personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, to grow in a knowledge of Christ, and to learn how to apply God's Word to their daily lives.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL

Pastor Rick is currently teaching a series on basic Bible doctrines entitled “What the Bible Teaches.” This class covers such subjects as the inspiration of the Bible, the person and work of Christ, the Trinity, the nature and purpose of the church, etc. This series may be viewed and downloaded on the Sermon Page. One of our elders, Charles Oliva, assists in this class.

COLLEGE AND CAREER

The purpose of this class is to help prepare young adults for effective Christian living and witness on their campuses and in their workplace. Recently this class studied The 7 Stages of Spiritual Growth, a video series by Dr. Bruce H. Wilkinson, and "Missions: Past & Present," taught by Dr. Mei-Ean Yeow.

HIGH SCHOOL CLASS

This popular teen Sunday School class is taught by Dr. George Rhoades, a well-known Christian psychologist. They study various topics relating God’s Word to current teen issues. Most recently they did a study on the Cults. The current series is on Bible Characters.

INTERMEDIATE CLASS

This class includes students in grades 6-8 and utilizes the excellent Bible survey materials produced by the Evangelical Free Church of America.

Dr. and Mrs. Lee and Jackie Ingamells effectively lead this dynamic group.

Children's Sunday School Classes

THIRD THROUGH FIFTH GRADE CLASS

On Sunday mornings our curriculum explores studies in both the Old Testament and New Testament using the David C. Cook curriculum.

This class is enthusiastically taught by Jonathan and Mutsumi Uyeno. The goal is to build a solid spiritual foundation in God’s Word.

KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SECOND GRADE

We believe in building a solid spiritual foundation through songs, stories, and a variety of learning experiences.

This joyful group is taught by Cy and Jan Ohira.

BEGINNER'S CLASS

During Sunday School the nursery age children are taught by Mrs. Taryn Dela Sierra and Mrs. Anya Klinginsmith. We use the David C. Cook Sunday School curriculum and other resources. Crafts and songs complement this learning time for our littlest keikis.
