WORSHIP LEADERS

Our worship services are led by a worship team under the direction of Gary Okimoto and Justin Knapp. The ministry goal of the worship team is “to deepen the worship experience for the individual Christian and the body of Christ represented at Mililani Community Church.”

WORSHIP TEAM ORGANIZATION

The Worship Team consists of worship leaders and musicians, singers, song transparencies producer, overhead projectionists, sound system operators, sermon tape duplicator and distributor, worship service coordinators, and Sunday set-up groups.

We have organized our church members into five setup groups. Each group takes a turn once a year. Since we meet in an elementary school cafeteria, this setup ministry involves picking up the equipment from storage, bringing it to the school, and setting it up and taking it down every Sunday and for special events.

The worship service coordinators serve as liaisons between the worship team and the pastor to ensure good communication in the planning of our worship services.
